ISRD develops software-defined 4G and 5G mobile networks supporting more users with better performance at lower cost by applying cutting edge proprietary technologies. ISRD participates in the Open RAN revolution and expects significant changes in the way networks are built and deployed in the coming years. The company is strongly rooted in R&D on 4G and 5G, mainly through EU-funded collaborative research projects. We develop and deliver 4G and 5G networking solutions. These include standard-compliant (3GPP, ETSI, O-RAN) software and hardware necessary to build 5G and 4G telco networks by MNO, MVNOs, private institutions, municipalities and many more. Our R&D department is involved in many National and EU-funded research projects and has extensive research knowledge on applied research in RAN, intelligent and programmable networks, and novel architecture for B5G/6G networks. We are proud recipients of various local recognitions including Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year and Innovator of Mazovia.
The network software of ISRD consists of the following product groups: (a) gNodeB, being part of the Software-Defined RAN (SD-RAN), is a 3GPP-compliant implementation of the 5G-NR base station; (b) eNodeB, being part of the Software-Defined RAN (SD-RAN), is a 3GPP-compliant implementation of the 4G LTE base station; (c) RIC (RAN intelligent controller), is a proprietary implementation of an O-RAN compliant radio access network SDN controller; (d) Core is a basic 3GPP compliant core network functionality covering both 4G, as well as 5G (Non-stand Alone and Stand Alone); (d) MANO is a Management and Orchestration software aligned with ETSI NFV (Network Function Virtualisation) concept.
